I'm not sure if any of you know about gaming mice or have ever used a gaming mouse, but it's defintely a step up from regular mice. However, I'm not gonna write a detailed list of what is good about gaming mice and I'll just go ahead and review this.
Laser: 9/10
This is a damn good laser. It's so precise and smooth. The only reason I didn't give this a 10/10 is because I hear it has tracking issues on fabric mousepads. That may be a problem to some, but for me and my plastic mousepad there's no issue at all.
Comfort: 7/10
It's not the most comfortable mouse in the world, the imperator is. However, with the 2 different grips and adjustable weight it is somewhat comfortable. I think there is going to be some pinkie drag for some people. The mouse is also short and is incredibly uncomfortable for palm gripers. However, it's possible to get used to it and it's not that bad. One good thing to mention is that this mouse can get pretty light, which is good for long usage due to less strain in your wrists/arms.
Main Buttons: 6/10
These buttons don't feel that great. Clicking isn't as soft as a gaming mouse should be. Also the mouse wheel button is a pain in the ass to click. Also as far as I'm concerned the side scrolling doesn't work.
Mousewheel: 6/10
Makes an ugly noise while scrolling. It scrolls alright. I wish it had a bit more stiffness though because you really don't want to overscroll while you're playing a game. Like I said before the side scrool just doesn't work at all. However, there is a cool feautre. We can make it so that the mouse spins super fast and has no "click". It's a cool, but gimmicky feature. It's usually too much of a pain to change it and i can just drag the scroll bar for the same effect.
Back/Forward Buttons: 10/10
God these buttons are fantastic. There's a great feel to them. Rather than a click we get a much smoother button pressing feel. I think it'll also last longer than other buttons. They're in a ok postion. It could ahve been in a better postion if it was customizable, but that would have taken away the wonderful click.
Response: 10/10
This mouse responds so fast. Turn polling to 1000 and watch as it responds as fast as you do. Also when you click its pretty fast. Especially useful in games where each milisec matters.
Driver: 4/10
The driver is pretty confusing. It has all the features you normally expect from a gaming mouse, but it's just harder to use.
Overall: 9/10
The price of only $42 is really nice for such a great mouse. Featurewise it's quite useful for gaming and casual pc usage. If you're ever thinking about getting an expensive wireless mouse just slap yourself in the face, remember what I told you, and buy a goddamn gaming mouse. After a week you won't go back...partially because back and forward buttons are so useful when surfing the web. The other reason is because you'd get used to a higher dpi when doing regular tasks and other mice will just feel slow to you.
